Allen's Tinting

Our business commenced tinting in 1979,  we have been based in Cairns, Cooktown, Atherton and now Mareeba. We still have many returning clients from all over north qld, and are now providing tinting services to their kids and grandkids. 

Automotive:

3M - is my automotive product of choice having trialled many different brands over the years. 3M warranty is probably one of the best warranties available to the customer. For exmple in one instance 18 years after the tint was installed the client came in for warranty work with vitully no paint left on his vehicle... it had been burnt off by the UV of the sun.

Over the years we have installed more than one custom tint on rear sedan windows with Ford and GMH logos cut out of the tinting film. GTHO Falcons, Monaros, EH Holden, Rolls Royce, Bentleys, Pontiac and the list goes on.

Our main customers of later years are 4WDs, there's not much we haven't tinted over the last 40 plus years.

Domestic & Commercial:

Flat glass tinting - Solar Gard film is my tint of choice for home and office. It gives in my opinion the best all round service to the customer with different shades and colours. With excellent warranty coverave if ever required. This makes it very popluar in north qld for assisting air conditioning and keeping houses and offices cool and reducing air conditioning costs. These films have as much as 80% heat reduction through the glass.

Industrial & Machinery: 

3M - we have been using 3M CS since it's creation in the mid 90's due to the film being made with carbon, will not fade or lose it's colour... just like an old tyre in the bush. There is also low reflection inside the cab which is important for the mining industry in particular.
